BirelAmerica.com

Hello racers,

It's time to think Spring! WE are! As you can see, our staff has completely refurbished the Rock kart program karts. They have been placed ...on the flat plate to insure they are square and true. They ARE! Engines have been gone through, carbs rebuilt and clutches repaired. Right now all we need are team drivers for our first test day to make sure they are working properly.

Race tracks who are looking to make money rather than spend it should call us as this fleet offers free delivery in the month of February! There are a total of 12 units equipped with belt drive systems (very clean operation and no chain oil) plus they have the 4 to 1 gear reduction system (GX 270 model). The speed is just as fast as the higher HP motors. The weight of the 9 HP is very drivable and offers good longevity.

We have had great luck with this combination. This fleet has been on track for two years and look how great of a condition they are in. A new package like this is $5800. Your price today is $3850 per unit. A minimum of ten needed to get the offer of free

Outnumbered But Not Out-Performed: Birel Puts Up Strong Championship Contention in Winter Series
brueckner-pole.jpgAfter the first two months of 2013, Birel racers have shown championship caliber runs on both sides of the country, scoring wins and podiums in the Florida Winter Tour and Challenge of the Americas series. Several drivers and teams are in contention for their respective championships utilizing 2013 model Birel racing chassis.

“We are very pleased with our results so far during the early part of the season,” said MRP Birel America Engineer, Tim Lobaugh. “The new 2013 Birel karts have performed great in every category. The results are there and what a lot of people do not know is Birel drivers and teams are scoring these wins and podiums even though we have far less entries compared to other brands. It is a testament to the success of the new models.”

cooper.jpgIn the Florida Winter Tour, Birel is having a dominant run in both DD2 and Stock Moto. Rotax World Champion, Ben Cooper (SRA/Birel), has scored two wins in DD2 to lead the championship hunt with teammate Kevin Ludi currently sitting 4th (1 win). In Stock Moto, Kurt Mathewson has gone “Two-for-Two” and currently leads the series by a wide margin heading into the last round in Ocala.

web-cota-pagano.jpgThe all new Birel RY30-S5 chassis has shown well in both senior and junior categories as well with Californian, Louie Pagano, who is currently 2nd in the Rotax Challenge of the Americas (CotA) series Rotax Senior class. Pagano has four straight podium finishes and several fastest laps.  In the Rotax Masters class, Donald Durbin (Cambrian Karts Birel), has mirrored Louie’s success with four straight podiums of his own and currently is only 2-points out of the championship lead.

web-cota-durbin.jpgIn Florida Winter Tour action, Tadasuke Makino of Japan and the UK’s Luke Varley are currently 5th and 6th in the Rotax Senior category standings. Both drivers have shown well in their rookie FWT appearances. Varley drove to 2nd in the season opener with Makino recovering from an incident to finish in 4th.

In Rotax Junior it is Poland’s Antoni Ptak (Andersen Racing) leading the charge for Birel with strong runs in his rookie FWT season. Ptak is currently 8th (out of 47) in Rotax Junior standings and is coming on strong as he scored his first podium in the latest round in Homestead. Ptak is also 6th in the FK TaG Junior class with another podium result to his credit.

brueckner.jpgWhile the full-sized karts offered by Birel have shown strong results, the C28R chassis utilized in Cadet classes such as TaG Cadet, MiniMax and MicroMax have been equally as impressive. In FWT competition, Nick Brueckner (MRP-Birel America) has four straight pole positions and two podiums enroute to 2nd in the Rotax MiniMax class standings, joined by teammate, David Malukas in 3rd. Brueckner is also 3rd in the FK TaG Cadet class as well.

malukas.jpgIn MicroMax, Harry Coulton sits in the 4th position and still in the hunt for the championship after two podium results and three Top-5’s in four races. In CotA competition, it is Payton Durrant that is going for the 2013 Micro title with two wins and a 2nd place in four starts this year. Durrant is currently in the 2nd place only a few points out of the lead with one race weekend remaining.

web-cota-durrant.jpgHeading into the final rounds of both the Florida Winter Tour and Challenge of the Americas, Birel racers look outpace the competition even though they are outnumbered. The results seen so far, however, are a good sign to things to come for Birel customers in local, regional and national competition.
